Get In TouchAbout Me

Hello! I'm Jamie.
I'm a software developer with a journey that began with a Lua script in Garry's Mod back in 2012. That spark ignited a lasting passion for programming. Currently, I'm an IT Systems Analyst at Derby City Gaming & Hotel, but I'm actively seeking a dedicated software development role where I can fully leverage and expand my coding skills.
Beyond the screen, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and child, and unwinding with video games. I have a particular fondness for titles that allow modifications, but I also find great satisfaction in dissecting and understanding games that don't officially support it – it's a fantastic learning curve!
While .NET C# is my go-to, I'm a quick learner and adaptable to new technologies. My core belief is that any language or framework can be mastered with dedication.

Experience & Aspirations
IT Systems Analyst - Derby City Gaming & Hotel
Current Role
In my current role, I manage and maintain critical IT systems, ensuring operational efficiency. While this position has provided valuable insights into enterprise IT, my passion lies in software development. I am actively seeking a challenging software development position where I can contribute to innovative projects and grow as a developer.
Software Developer - Rainbow Design Services
Sep 2021 - Sep 2022
This position was short lived as the company was forced to close shortly after. In this role, my goal was to develop and maintain multiple scripts used on the design team to ensure efficiency.
FSE Project Specialist - Rainbow Design Services
Sep 2019 - Sep 2021
As a Field Support Engineer (FSE) Project Specialist, my job was to ensure that any updates to the source map was clean of imperfections and did not hold any data corruption. This job was very important as if any data was to get pushed to the source map, it would corrupt it permanently possibly resulting in days/months/years of rollback.
Valet - Lexus of Louisville
Nov 2018 - Sep 2019
As a valet, I was a key part of the customer's service experience at Lexus. I was responsible for carefully moving all vehicles throughout the service process. A major focus of my job was the final presentation—I washed and detailed every car to ensure it met the high standards customers expect from the Lexus brand.
